Moonpay Onboarded Colin Kaepernick Into The Bored Ape Yacht Club And He Also Invested In Yuga Labs

Weeks ago, Moonpay purchased and transferred Bored Ape #7434 to an unknown user; and today we found out who aped in.

On February 25, Moonpay moved Bored Ape #7434 to a new wallet, leaving Bored Ape Yacht Club members speculating about who aped in.

Today, Yuga Labs released a list of 36 people, brands and VC firms that took part in its seed round. Based on the press release, Bored Ape #7434 belongs to former NFL Quarterback and activist Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick’s ape is a six-trait robot fur ape with coin eyes and a tank top. Based on these traits, Kaepernick’s ape is the 5955th most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.

While we do not know how much the former NFL player paid for his ape, we do know that Moonpay purchased the robot fur primate for 120 Eth on February 22nd.
