MONOCHROMATIC MERCH: This BAYC Already Received Their Merch From The Dudes X McBess Collab

After the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s collaboration with McBess and the Dudes in fall 2022, some BAYC members have begun to receive their merch!

Over the weekend, BAYC member Alexsm.Eth took to Twitter and informed the community that they received their small McCapsule from the club's most recent merch drop!

Following Alexsm’s post, the Bored ape Gazette reached out to them and asked for their initial thoughts on the items!

“The quality on the t-shirt is super high, compared to other drops,” Alexsm said. “This is my favorite material and design of merch (since their first merch drop). Overall, the second drop of merch was almost too rugged, but this material is both soft, but durable. Lots of little things too such as the tags signature by McBess.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC collaborated with McBess and The Dudes last year.

“If you saw the sneak peek at ApeFest, then you’ve probably been just as excited as we’ve been for this," Yuga Labs wrote in a blog post on October 19th 2022. “On October 26th, the Bored Ape Yacht Club, The Dudes, and McBess come together for a merch collab just for apes. We’re longtime fans of the monochromatic, surrealist worlds McBess creates in his illustrations and The Dudes clothing label, so we’re psyched to see BAYC brought to life in his signature style."

The BAYC X McBess X The Dudes collab consisted of two different McCapsule bundles that were exclusively sold to BAYC and MAYC members.

The first of the two “McCapsules” was the small version that included Skull and Fish Tee, a 50cm x 70cm art print individually numbered, stickers, and an enamel pin. This option cost the ApeCoin equivalent of $175 USD.

The second McCapsule that the club sold was the large version that included a denim jacket, a patch set, an enamel pin, the Boat Tee, a 110cm x 75cm art print individually numbered. This option cost the ApeCoin equivalent of $500 USD.
