MEET THE CANDIDATE: FatherOfAllStorms Is Running For ApeCoin DAO Special Council

ApeCoin DAO Contributor FatherOfAllStorms has done it all in her career, from owning a company to working at Apple. While her roles may have changed, her desire to connect with people on an individual level has stayed the same. Now, FatherOfAllStorms is running for a spot on the ApeCoin DAO’s Special Council because she wants to welcome newcomers to the $Ape community and help the DAO live up to the ideal that one $Ape is all it takes to be part of this community!

The ApeCoin DAO’s summer election season is underway with 10 ApeCoin DAO contributors running for a spot on the 2024 Special Council. Among the candidates vying for this position is FatherOfAllStorms.

“Holders are the biggest motivation & what all holders want,” FatherOfAllStroms wrote on her candidate page. “All voices should be heard. You give me courage to keep going. The Apecoin token itself its like a light in the darkness of many coins out there. I see undeniable force of this community. Besides advocating strong for the Apecoin I envision it’s more broad implementation for the real world possibilities, making more visible for all folks beyond Twitter. Make it more visible with more personable approach for different type of communities & groups by aligning with their needs and possible WEB3 & WEB2.5 integration of the Apecoin. More cross-community connections forming. More representation of our voices and what we looking forward too. elevating Apecoiners in their pro-Apecoin goals.”

1. In a sentence or two what is your candidacy all about?

“Empowering ApeCoin DAOLISTS with professional support, knowledge, tools discoverability & working with people in personal level they are in need for. It is important to keep branching the DAO tree in all directions, so each branch has a spotlight and space to expand, instead of growing unidirectional monoculture. We all know that Marxist approach doesn’t work to create excitement or natural engagement. We are all individuals with different goals and needs of different solutions plus developments.”

 

2. Why did you decide to run for $Ape office?

“I’m inspired by people and the help I can provide not only on technical level but with dedicated custom approach to their needs. I love to engage with people & work together on variety of things. This DAO provides unique token $APE as multi-utility for any possible applications, from DEFI perspective to gaming token to and exchange for physical and more!”

3. What makes you the right $Ape for the job?

“Every single experience of mine in my life: from company ownership to directing, to marketing, public speech and TV experience, multi language, world traveler, working in different regions across the planet or with companies and individuals across the globe, lots of technical certifications, formal Apple 5 years, Microsoft developer, blockchain platforms tester, blockchain researcher, blockchain & NFT conferences speaker, VR/3D NFT artist & deployer.. above all this the limit important is ability to align with different individuals and get to know how can I help, what they not sure about in building or direction and work with them on the progression.”

4. What would you like to accomplish during your term?

“More personalize approach focus and blueing the lines between formal workers and DAOLISTS by working more closely. Cross DAOs & associations or foundations collaborations to boost network effect across different platforms, this includes gaming associations across the globe and DEFI DAOs also. Be more inclusive for the individual with any kind of physical disabilities or special needs. Simplify the information by reducing the repetitive “noise” by properly go cross platforms and physical presence at relevant DEFI events full of real builders. Also host events for experienced blockchain folks that will engage in building value for the token APE & our foundation.”

5. If you could pick any former Special Council member to be your advisor if you were elected to the Special Council this summer, who would you pick and why?

“Difficult question seeing what was happening in the past couple of years with most. I think it would be someone that shows integrity, professionalism, don’t plan to give up in the middle of the term or try to hold to the position without letting anyone new in, confusing the elections with permanent job. Someone who gives power to people and work on their needs and don’t use it for self promo or tries to push unreasonable & irrelevant to the DAO activations. Someone that will look to pass the knowledge all the time like me instead of taking its opportunity away from others.”

 

6. Why is becoming an SC member important for you personally?

“It’s more important to apecoin holders who are tired seeing new comers just being supported by companies or corporations related to them without spending time at the forum and not understanding the work or the apecoin holders. People are tied to see others use positions as extra salary or using elections for self promotions and AIP promotions. And This is happening across many foundations that failed to protect themselves in the beginning. it will be difficult to bring back more pure vibes and good standing in belief of EVERYONE CAN, when it seems so unfriendly sometimes, and with payed spaces plus promos on top. Of whales and companies really care about the Token , they will vote for someone who understands the Blockchains like me and understands the close working with different types of unique minded individuals. They need to think about expansion and support of us as DAO so at the end of the day it will benefit them in the long term. Any sort of control over workers and pre-asked obligations for the exchange of vote will bring monoculture that promptly dies from fast burn, it’s not engaging or TRULLY boring like a basic promo bot. So it was important to me to apply and show that I’m here to work with everyone. We can work in many directions and the sky is not the limit! It never was so let’s stop focusing on just basics. We have to give it a chance! Im like others - knowledgeable & passionate daolist because I know that we can be better in everything, not just couple of things. So hope big wallets open their mind and give the fuel to launch into the space!"

7. Where would you like to see the DAO a year from now?

“I talked about branching and cross collaboration across platforms, DAOs & foundations. Now imaging that that tree of branches now it’s a fires of many different trees with interoperable roots and when they spread pollen it flies up and creates cross-pollination on multiple chains and layers. I’m a year also new forms of registers appear on blockchains and this will create a mega network effect , everyone will be engaged in one form or another, users or builders or both. We will have more tools to use and to play with, more token utilities &more inclusivity.”

 

8. How did you get into crypto?

“while at http://Apple.Inc many of my formal tech people were into blockchain reserch and bitcoin. I started on Binance long time ago when it just finally got into EU, collecting art, tokens, after gamifying NFTs. after I bridged myself to ETH in it’s purely, some NFTs and latex went deep into Full IP right NFTs, licensing and writing company direction for web2,5 companies, consulting the owners and helping when asked. 3 years ago I got deeper into blockchain reserch and security. 2-3 years ego lots of developments started to happen on ETH chain, I started to be a speaker at the Blockchain conferences and events, form security panels to DAO speeches. I was constantly invited to a blockchain boot camps by many associations , hacker spaces and official development clubs where I could test newest not yet public tools & deploy or create things with others to implement before public beta. I started also game testing for web3 companies and decided to create my own VR/3D NFTs on my own contract. Some end up being at NFTNYC and one was featured at the time square. I was the first person to deploy photography collections in Apecoin ever. I’m so happy with everything that blockchain tech provides for people. It’s TRULLY the future for all kind of utilities. Now I can never leave the WEB3, it would be unnatural)”

 

9. What do you like to do outside of Web3?

“Honestly most of things I like to do in web3, from boot camps to game skin designs to conferences, helping others. Even in free time. Aside web3 I would say on part of my vacation I love water-sports like kite, ocean time, mountains time , I’m a professional snowboarder all my life aside all tech and international work I did plus designer. I like downhill biking too but nothing beats the freeride from the top peaks of the world above 3,5-4 km where no helicopter can reach and you TRULLY need you get there yourself, rely on yourself and be with the planet, you are your own responsibility on a mercy of your skills, calculations, survival & in fight sometimes by always changing weather conditions plus snow types, you are becoming your own fully self within the planet earth and there is no phone signal in most cases)”

 

10. Do you have anything else you’d like to add or say?

“Give a chance to smart enthusiastic folks from blockchain communities with all kind of experiences to improve the alignment process with the holders and ability to cross-pollinate across platforms while they deeply understand how they work. I have a neutrality that so many holders are asking for. It’s time to make big decisions instead of plying around. If you are with the people of the DAO then you are standing for the future of entire blockchain technology. So stand for this DAO stand with me! The sky is not the limit, so stop limiting yourselves)"

The window to vote in the first round of the ApeCoin DAO’s Special Council election is currently open and $Ape holders will have until June 12th at 9 P.M. EST to cast their coins in support their preferred nominees.

After the first round of voting, the top five nominees with the most votes will proceed to the second round of voting and officially become ApeCoin DAO Special Council candidates. The DAO will then conduct one more election round from June 13th through June 19th. During this second vote, the community will officially elect two new Special Council members.
