Mastercard Drops Alpha at Today’s Made By Apes Speaker Session On Web3 Initiatives, Accelerator Programs, And Free Resources For Builders

Mastercard made waves around the swamp this afternoon as the Fortune 500 company hosted the latest Made By Apes Speaker Session, giving bored builders the alpha on its Web3 initiatives, accelerator programs, and free resources perfect for any business!

On Wednesday, BAYC members aped into the club’s Discord server to attend the fifth MBA Speaker Session featuring Mastercard’s Web3 team: Sebastian Oddo, Volen Tsolov, and Carter Kneeshaw.

 

During the event, the trio explained that Mastercard hopes to serve as an enabler, a partner, and a resource for Web3 builders to use as a bridge to traditional markets. “We see ourselves as enabling the Web3 community to tap into the broader financial ecosystem,” Volen said.

To further support Web3 builders, the Mastercard team shared details about its Start Path Accelerator Program, which focuses on helping digital asset and blockchain companies “access strategic partnerships, co-innovation opportunities, and engagement with Mastercard’s global network.”

“Technology isn’t going in reverse,” Sebastian AKA BAYC member  @bepositive said when discussing Web3 and Crypto. “There is so much building, but it takes time. It’s coming.”

Another initiative discussed during the Speaker Session was Mastercard’s "Digital Doors Assessment," a free resource available to everyone that helps entrepreneurs scale and grow their businesses.

Through the Digital Doors Assessment, Mastercard offers assistance with setting up an online presence, promoting businesses, accepting payments, protecting operations, managing workflows, and driving growth.
