The popstar purchased Bored Ape #3001 for a jaw dropping 500 ETH or $1,300,000.

Bored ape #3001 is a five-trait brown fur primate with sad eyes and a black t shirt. Based on these traits, bored ape #3001 is the 9777th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

BAYC member and Opensea user, VibesMuseum, sold Bieber Bored Ape #3001. Vibesmuseum originally purchased Bored Ape #3001 for .24 ETH nine months ago on May 1st, 2020.

After the purchase, BAYC members welcomed the Biebs into the club and speculated what drew him to Bored Ape #3001.“His birthday is March 1,” BAYC member Boredape93 tweeted “Maybe that’s it?”
