'IM BACK': Gordon Goner's Shopping Spree Came To An End After He Spent 1045.5 Eth In 5 Days!

Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner is 'back,' but his weeklong 1045.5 Eth or $2,046,818 USD shopping spree has come to an end today as the Apeman himself left his toilet to go touch some grass!

The vibes have been immaculate around the Web3 ecosystem this week as Gordon Goner, who took some time away from the ecosystem to focus on his health earlier this year, returned to the timeline and purchased high-end NFTs from collections inside and outside the Yugaverse all week and officially announced that he's back.

“Going to go touch grass for a while,” Goner tweeted this afternoon. “New Gordo made commitments to stay healthy and balanced this time. But it feels good to finally be a part of the broader NFT ecosystem. Apologies if you were hoping I’d get a certain NFT or support your project this week. I got a LOT of DMs, have my eyes on quite a few from probably a dozen more projects and artists I want to support, both super OG and brand new. Some will need to be negotiated in terms of price, some just didn’t feel like the right time for, etc, and I’m feeling pretty satisfied with my collection for now. Feels like the start of something. Thanks for all the love over the past few days. It’s strange being back without the Yuga tag. Strange but also good. I’m back. Just got a bunch of texts from internal Yuga people concerned about the phrasing "no Yuga tag." Guys I'm still an advisor, I just have heart failure can't come back to work yet. I advise. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Goner announced that he would be ape-ing into some non-BAYC NFTs on Monday and then proceeded to purchase CryptoPunk #7458 for 600 Eth or $1,136,000 USD.

After that, Goner went on a five-day shopping spree picking up grails from various collections including a Squiggle, a World of Women, a Meebit, a Pudgy Penguin, a Moca, a Sappy Seal, among others.
