HEAR YE, HEAR YE!: The Decentralized Exchange Camelot Is Coming To Apechain Later This Year!

Huzzah!

ApeCoin has found a knight in shining armor after the Arbitrum ecosystem's decentralized exchange, Camelot, announced that it is coming to ApeChain later this year!

Nine days after ApeChain's Curtis Testnet went live, moving a step closer towards launching as part of the Arbitrum Orbit Chains, the Arbitrum ecosystem's native DEX, Camelot, announced that it will be holding court for all things coins on ApeChain when it launches on mainnet!

“Camelot will deploy on @apecoin's upcoming chain, Apechain,” the DEX tweeted last night. “ApeChain is a dedicated infrastructure layer to power the ApeCoin ecosystem. Camelot will provide the APE ecosystem with battle-tested liquidity infrastructure & serve as the native DEX. Several months ago, the ApeCoin DAO decided to build its chain in the Arbitrum ecosystem, leveraging the Orbit stack and supported by @Calderaxyz. This would allow ApeChain to use $APE as the gas token for a high-performance, ultra-low-fee chain tailored to the APE community. Camelot's deployment will provide important liquidity infrastructure to the ecosystem, unlocking opportunities for builders and the community. Through Camelot, APE users will swap tokens & provide liquidity on highly efficient AMM tech, powered by @CryptoAlgebra.”

Camelot is the first of two DEXs to announce that they will be part of the ApeChain ecosystem, and the $APE community can expect many more testnet and mainnet announcements soon, according to Horizen Labs VP of Ecosystem Growth and the ApeCoin DAO’s Banana Bill Program Strategic Account Manager, Blockchainzilla.

“There is stuff that’s coming on in the next few weeks,” Blockchainzilla told the Gazette during last week’s Bored Ape Gazette live Space. “The two major Dexs who are going to be on ApeChain will be there, note I said two. Some of the things that have been passed (by the DAO) already are getting on there. I know Koko is hard at work on Ape Express. Some of the gameplay in various forms is getting on there as well. There will start to be things that you can do as a user over the next couple of weeks.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Camelot and will let you know when you can test out its ApeChain DEX and what other dApps will be ape-ing into the ApeChain ecosystem. Stay tuned for updates!
