On Wednesday, Bored Ape Yacht Club member and ApeChain enthusiast MindMakesMatter AKA M3 purchased Gob #2080 for 21,000 $Ape or 13,860 USD, making this the most expensive ApeChain NFT purchase in history!

Gob #2080 is a four-attribute, ghoul-body Gob with ghoulish eyes, a unicorn blood mouth, and a hoodie. Based on these traits, Gob #2080 is the 29th rarest Gob around the swamp, according to Magic Eden.
While M3’s purchase of Gob #2080 made headlines, the notable collector also picked up three additional Gobs today after a recent conversation with the project’s founder, James Hall.
“After chatting a bit with @imjameshall and understanding that @GobsOnApe are fully on chain, I realized I wanted in on Gobs,” M3 told the Gazette. “I also wanted to grab a real grail while I could as I think they are the CryptoPunks of ApeChain. If ApeCoin is a thing Gobs are a thing. Gobs are Gobs."
Looking ahead, M3 is bullish on $Ape and can’t wait to see what Yuga Labs and the community continue to create on the chain!
