Anime Apes and other primate derivatives took over the timeline today after ChatGPT’s image generator got an upgrade, inspiring everyone to reimagine their Apes!

The Web3 world looked like it jumped straight out of a comic book or anime as BAYC members experimented with styles ranging from Studio Ghibli to the Muppets, and beyond!

 

 

Apes weren’t the only ones getting "Ghibli’ed" on the timeline. BAYC member Bejado even animated Yuga Labs co-founders Gordon Goner and Garga!

To try this new image generator yourself, you'll need to upgrade your ChatGPT to the “Plus” account, which costs $20 USD per month.

“Creating and customizing images is as simple as chatting using GPT‑4o—just describe what you need, including any specifics like aspect ratio, exact colors using hex codes, or a transparent background,” OpenAI tweeted yesterday. “Create or transform images into a variety of styles with 4o image generation.”
