Gazette's Guess: What The Bored Ape Gazette Thinks The Next Round21 X BAYC Sports Item Will Be:

This month Bored Ape Yacht Club members began receiving their BAYC X Round21 basketball’s and another physical item could be right around the corner.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported in July, The Bored Ape Yacht Club teamed up with Round21 to send every Bored Ape Kennel Club holder an NFT basketball with the option to pick up the physical version for $100.

After months of waiting, buyers received their basketballs and are now excited for the next physical item from Round21.

in the description of the BAYC X Round21 Basketball NFT, Round21 teases a second future sports item. “Hold onto the NFT to gain access to a second future sports item from BAYC and round21.”

Since Ricefarmer’s tweet, the Round21 X BAYC basketball NFT floor price has risen to .275 Eth at the time of this articles publication.

While Round21 has been holding its cards close to its chest, their website may give apes an idea of what kind of sports items they could get next.

Round21’s shop features three main sports, basketball, soccer and Ping pong. Based on this, it seems safe to assume that the next item will likely be from one of these three sports.

If its soccer, apes could get another customized ball featuring apes, dogs and mutants. If its ping-pong, apes could get custom BAYC paddles and balls. Each of these options would be awesome and apes would likely ape in.

However, this reporter personally believes that the next items will be a Round21 X BAYC basketball hoop and a miniature BAYC X Round 21 basketball.

The reason the Gazette thinks that the basketball hoop will be the next item is because Round21 has several basketball hoops for sale on its’ website, Round21 previously sold BAYC members a basketball, and finally the BAYC has several NBA players in the club.
