GAME ON: ApeCoin's Mascot ApeKin Needs Your Help In This Week's Edition Of The 8102 Game!

Calling all $Apes and Apes! Log off Magic Eden and Ape Express for a minute and come save the ApeCoin DAO’s mascot, ApeKin, who’s been ambushed in this week’s edition of The 8102 Game!

The battle for all Ape-kind against an evil AI continues around the swamp in this week’s mission from the Made By Apes project, The 8102 Game, created by Bored Ape Yacht Club members Elethera and siw0bbyte.

 

“The story features ApeKin who was ambushed on his way to the Hidden Island and had to leave behind his treasure, which includes ApeCoin and ApeFest memorabilia,” Elethra told the Gazette. “Players will encounter a few well-known apes in the story who all want to help ApeKin. To help ApeKin and have a chance of winning ApeCoin players only need to sign-in (signature only), choose PFPs as combatants and deploy their team(s). There's no need to mint or hold our yacht NFTs to enter. So it's a great chance to experience the mission and win ApeCoin.”

 

This week’s mission is sponsored by the ApeCoin DAO’s Metaverse Working Group and features a prize pool of 3,500 $Ape!

“100 players will be randomly selected and win 35 ApeCoin,” Elethera said. “Everyone holding ApeCoin (on ETH chain) and one of 220+ supported PFPs can join for free. It takes only 5 minutes and we support wallet delegation.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, The 8102 Game started earlier this year and follows BAYC member and billionaire Gerry Hoffman, who, along with his Yugaverse friends, fights back against a rogue artificial intelligence that's hell-bent on destroying both mankind and Ape-kind.

“The 8102 is a squad-building experience with weekly missions,” Elethera said. “Set in a dystopian future in which a Super AI has taken over, Bored Ape #8102 Gerry calls upon his friends to unite and fight back. As of now over 130 collections are integrated as combatants and gear items including BAYC, MAYC, Chimpers, 0N1 Force, 10KTF and many more.”
