The ApeCoin intern was on another plane of existence today, moving fast to start sweeping floors and rewarding the 10 ApeChain NFT communities that won five- and six-figure floor sweeps during Spotlight Season 1.
To kick things off, the intern didn’t go after just any Gee, he went big, galaxy big, and purchased an out-of-this-world gorilla dubbed “Geenova” for 28,888 $Ape or approximately $14,500 USD.

Following this purchase, the ApeCoin intern now has roughly $85,500 USD left to either sweep the floor or pick up more top Geez.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Geez On Ape won the top community Spotlight prize, a $100,000 USD floor sweep, by accumulating the most points during Season 1 of Spotlight. Along with the Geez, Gobs On Ape secured a $50,000 USD sweep, the Dengs won a $25,000 USD sweep, and Chumpz By Saints of LA, Degen, Zards, DSNRS, Frostbyte, Rillaz, and Alpha Bananas each earned a $10,000 USD floor sweep this season.
As we wait to see what the intern does next, Geez On Ape Founder Rida shared his thoughts with the Gazette on which traits he thinks the intern should pick up, while reiterating that all Geez are Geez, thanks to their top-tier utility!
