It’s a damn good day to be an $Ape!

On Tuesday, the Digital Art Movement officially migrated its staking program to ApeChain, inviting every $Ape and Ape to stake their ApeCoin and start accumulating the project’s $DAM token, which represents fractionalized ownership of one of the best damn NFT collections in all of Web3!
“Fuck it,” DAM tweeted this morning. “ApeCoin deposits open now on ApeChain.” $DAM distribution begins 4/25 Friday 1500 UTC. Reminder for those with $DAM in Thruster and Hyperlock on Blast to remove your LPs and have your tokens in your wallet for the migration. Snapshot will take place 4/25 0400 UTC on Friday.”
The process to deposit your $Ape is straightforward. Simply visit DAM’s website, connect your wallet, and stake your tokens.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the ApeCoin DAO voted to allocate 11 million $Ape to MachiBigBrother’s Digital Art Movement in September 2023. The goal of this AIP was threefold: first, to purchase NFTs; second, to create a staking mechanism that gives the community the chance to own and control the collection; and third, to work with museums, galleries, and schools to get Bored Apes and other digital assets placed in exhibits around the world!
Today, the Digital Art Movement is in talks with the Belvedere Museum, LACMA, MoMA Shanghai, MUCA in Munich, and the Bowers Museum to exhibit its top tier collection that includes: 217 Bored Apes, 20 Mutant Apes, a CryptoPunk, a Fidenza, Ringers, Winds of Yawanawa, Where My Vans Go, Anticyclone, Themes and Variations, Meridian, Chromie Squiggle, The Harvest, Life in Japan Editions, Memories of Qilin, Damien Hirst’s The Currency, QQL Mint Pass, Singularity, and a Trichromatic.
