On Tuesday, Wallet 0xc5aB91448342a4E85b71E4a5CA3A524FEd732ebb, known as IronMike, purchased Bored Ape #6034 for 60 ETH, or approximately $213,600 USD.
Bored Ape #6034 is a six-trait brown fur primate with a tweed suit, a silver stud earing, and blue beam eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #6034 is the 408th rarest ape in the collection, according to Magic Eden.
Well, I’ve been sidelined on @BoredApeYC from the time they were 3 eth when I first saw them years ago until now,” IronMike tweeted after his purchase. “One of the things I learned is to never fade the teams that continue to build. This is now my forever ape and will be out of the market for good. How are we looking?”
Following IronMike’s purchase, BAYC members warmly welcomed him to the swamp, filling the timeline with “FREE” comments in celebration.
This is IronMike’s first Bored Ape, and it’s clear he was determined to secure this suited-up primate. According to OpenSea data, he had been making six-figure offers on Bored Ape #6034 multiple times a day since November 30th.
