FROGGY FRENS: Moonbirds Introduced The Community To Mystically Trippy Toads Called Toadums!

From Crickets to ribbits. The Moonbirds project introduced the community to a new froggy fren from around the swamp!

On Friday, the Yugaverse was jumping  after the Moonbirds shared a photo of a mystically trippy toad called Toadums.

“Emerging from the shadows, Toadums drifts like a wandering wizard, his presence steeped in mystery,” the project cryptically tweeted. “A keeper of riddles and hidden truths, Toadums mirrors Scout’s inner mystic. Through cryptic wisdom, he challenges her to cast aside doubt and navigate the unknown.”

 

 

Following the post, many Birbs and NFT enthusiasts jumped into the comment section to croak about the art and leapfrog to conclusions about what’s to come from Toadums.

“Really, really love this art,” CryptoPunk holder Adam Holander tweeted. “Like I'm tempted to PFP it I love it so much lol Whoever drew this is legitimately amazing.”

 

At this time, we don’t know much about these frogs outside of the Moonbirds tweet today, but we did learn that the idea for Toadums was born out of “pure silliness,” and that it was drawn by Yuga Labs artists Whim and Wynbat, according to Yuga Labs Creative Director Colin Hesterly.

"Toadums has been one of my favorite @moonbirds characters to create,” he tweeted. “@Auldrobotand I were stuck in traffic for 2 hours driving across LA. We spent most of that time laughing our asses off, speaking in a funny 'Toadums' voices. Some of the best ideas come from pure silliness.”
