Things were getting a bit hairy on the timeline today as Bored Ape Yacht Club members, crypto companies, and more took part in a “what if” trend that reimagined people’s primates, company logos, and NFTs if they were fuzzy!
With markets trading mostly sideways on Tuesday, the Web3 world entertained itself with a new copypasta trend featuring a much softer aesthetic, powered by ChatGPT’s latest image generator update.
The trend appears to have started with CoinGecko, who reimagined its lizard logo with a furry makeover.
From there, major crypto companies like Ledger and OpenSea aped into the trend and shared their own fur covered takes on their logos.
The fluff didn’t stop there. Made By Apes businesses and BAYC members also aped in to see what they’d look like with a little extra fuzz and the results were soft, silly, and surprisingly adorable!
Today’s fur fueled trend is the second ChatGPT powered copypasta to take over the timeline since the AI platform released its upgraded image generator late last month.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported in March, Apes were reimagining themselves as everything from Studio Ghibli characters to Muppets, all thanks to ChatGPT!
