EYE'S ON $APE: ApeChain's Reward Program Launched Today And $Ape Holders Can Start Earning Points By Playing Top Trader!

With all eyes on $Ape and ApeChain, ApeCoin DAO Special Council Member Waabam unvieled the new Spotlight rewards program, which rewards $Ape holders who complete quests on ApeChain!

On Sunday, Yuga Labs hosted an ApeChain chat with Waabam, Yuga Labs’ Michael Figge, SpicyTina, PP Man, and Reboot’s GFunk during day 3 of ApeFest 2024.

 

During the talk, Waabam revealed that he and the ApeCoin team had launched a rewards program called Spotlight on ApeChain. This program will highlight one dApp at a time and give $Ape holders the chance to earn rewards made possible by the recently passed $100 million Banana Bill!

“Spotlight is the ApeChain points and loyalty program, and we are flipping the points meta on its head,” Waabam said. “Rather lots of different games and dApps, on Spotlight we are going to focus on one dApp at a time. Its simple. Its fun, and tasks will be enjoyable to complete. The other thing we are doing with Spotlight is that the rewards will not be ApeCoin…Instead we are leveraging the Banana Bill and the different commercial agreements that were made and those will be the rewards on Spotlight.”

 

Currently, Spotlight is live on ApeChain.com, and the first dApp the program is focusing on is Yuga Labs’ trading simulation game, TopTrader.

There are currently 12 TopTrader-centric Spotlight Quests, ranging from getting liquidated for the first time to getting "SCHIZO" and "aping" into 21 consecutive tournaments.
