ESPN Analyst And Former Basketball Player Ros Gold-Onwude Picked Up A Rare Punk Yesterday
ESPN basketball analyst and former Stanford and Nigeria national team Basketball player, Ros Gold-Onwude, announced that she purchased her “Crown Jewel” Punk.
On Tuesday, Gold-Onwude took to Twitter and announced that she had picked up her dream Punk.
Gold-Onwude’s new Punk is CryptoPunk #8842. CryptoPunk #8842 is a three attributue dark female type punk with classic shades, purple lipstick and a tiara. Based on these traits, CryptPunk #8842 is the 341st most Punk CryptoPunk, according to Rarity Tools.
Following the deal, Gold-Onwude took to Twitter again and thanked notable CryptoPunk dealer, PunksOTC, for helping her pick up CryptoPunk #8842.
“It was a pleasure to work on a deal w/ @punksOTC and achieve my dream of owning a Tiara punk for my collection," she said. “Some of y’all know how long I’ve been searching for a shot at the elusive Tiara. I’m sitting here smiling because I’m so happy.”
While CryptoPunk #8842 may be Gold-Onwude collection’s crown jewel, the rare Punk is not the former basketball player's first NFT.
Gold-Onwude also owns CryptoPunk #7894 and Bored Ape #3644, Bored Ape Kennel Club Dog #3644, and three Otherdeeds, according to Opensea data.
