DISPENSING BOREDOM: The BAYC Announces Crypto Vending Machine For Made By Apes Products At ApeFest 2024!

Make sure to bring a wad of $Ape to Lisbon this October because there is going to be a Made By Apes vending machine at ApeFest 2024 dispensing snacks and stuff from around the swamp!

The Bored Ape Yacht Club’s fourth annual ApeFest is set to be the most ape-centric event ever, as the club doubles down on Made By Apes this year with the return of the Bodega, a first-of-its-kind MBA Farmers Market, MBA brands as official vendors, and now a vending machine that’ll be anything but boring!

“With huge support from Thank APE, MBA will be showing up big at ApeFest,” the BAYC tweeted yesterday. “The Bodega will consist of four main components in Lisbon: a farmers market style popup open to the public, an always-on display for MBA products at Convento, a web3 vending machine for MBA products, and we are working to partner with as many MBAs that expressed interest as possible to be official F&B vendors of ApeFest and be paid at market rates.”

On Spaces today, Yuga Labs’ Spicy Tina gave the community a bit more information on the vending machine and teased that the goal is for it to accept $Ape.

“It’s a crypto vending machine,” she said. “We are trying. That’s the goal. Let’s hope I didn’t just speak out of turn, but yes. That is the goal.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, ApeFest 2024 will be taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, from October 18-20th.

Like last year’s ApeFest in Hong Kong, this year’s festivities will consist of citywide community events centered around an ‘ApeFest’ headquarters at a former Portuguese convent called Convento do Beato and a party at the LX Factory.
