DAMN $DAM!: MachiBigBrother's Apecoin DAO Funded Digital Art Movement Added A $190K USD Trippy Fur Ape To Its Collection!

It’s a damn good day to be an Ape! MachiBigBrother’s ApeCoin DAO-funded Digital Art Movement just added its first trippy fur primate to its top-tier NFT collection, and every $Ape holder has the chance to own a piece of it by staking their ApeCoin for the project’s $DAM token!

Friday morning was anything but boring around the swamp after the Digital Art Movement purchased Bored Ape #3374 from longtime BAYC member APE G4NG for 75 ETH or $190,000 USD.

 

 

Bored Ape #3374 is a six trait trippy fur primate with a flipped brim hat, a sleeveless tee, and a pizza mouth. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #3374 is the 165th rarest Bored Ape in the entire collection.

 

“After months of acquiring quality digital art, we’ve secured a grail Trippy Ape - BAYC #3374,” the Digital Art Movement tweeted after the purchase. “This Ape captures the laid-back and playful spirit of the BAYC collection, making it a key piece in our lineup. Stake your Apecoin for $DAM and own a part of this collection with us.”

 

 

Since July, $Ape holders have been invited to stake their ApeCoin on the Digital Art Movement’s website, earning not only $Ape staking rewards from the DAO but also $DAM tokens from the Digital Art Movement.

These $DAM tokens represent fractional ownership and control of the initiative’s collection, which includes 203 Bored Apes, 19 Mutants, a Fidenza, a Twelvefold, and other high-end digital assets.

 

 

“The staking for $DAM you also get ApeCoin staking too,” $DAM’s founder MachiBigBrother said to the Gazette this morning.  “No loss only gain. You get your ownership in a priceless art collection.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the ApeCoin DAO approved an Ape Improvement Proposal last year to allocate 11 million $Ape to MachiBigBrother’s Digital Art Movement proposal.

With these funds, Machi and the DAM team were tasked with creating $DAM, acquiring a high-end NFT collection that $Ape holders can own a piece of, and working to get NFTs showcased in schools, museums, and galleries worldwide.
