COMING UP: ApeChain Director Waabam Will Be Discussing Banana Bill, DAO Updates, And More On Bored Counsel’s Space Tomorrow!

Special Council member and Director of ApeChain Projects, Waabam, is sitting down with Bored Counsel’s Ernest Lee and Aaron Haber on Spaces tomorrow to discuss the DAO, Special Council elections, and the 100 million $Ape Banana Bill!

2025 is off to an anything-but-boring start as Apes and $Apes get ready to tune into an important Bored Counsel Twitter Space with Waabam this Friday at 12 P.M. EST.

“(Everyone) should tune in because Waabam is the most powerful person in Ape Chain,” Haber told the Gazette. “1 of 2 remaining Special Council Members, 1 of 5 voting members of The Banana Bill Advisory Committee and The Director of ApeChain. What more do you people want from him?!”

 

Tomorrow’s Space with Bored Counsel will be the first in a series of Spaces and updates that Waabam and the Banana Bill team plan to share with the community this month. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the DAO has scheduled a Space for January 10th to go over the first Banana Bill transparency report, which is set to be released that same day.

“This report will cover the first quarter of Banana Bill operations post-ApeChain launch, as well as the deals that were made in the pre-launch period,” Waabam tweeted on December 31st, 2024. “The Banana Bill hasn't been perfect, and there are process kinks still to be worked out. We appreciate the community holds us accountable and shares honest feedback that the process is too slow and people have been left in the dark. That ends now. Starting next week, the Banana Bill Advisory Committee will be hosting weekly X spaces to openly and publicly chat with the community. We will also be making a calendly available to grab 1:1 time with advisory committee members to share feedback, discuss projects before applying to Banana Bill, and get updates regularly.”
