The ApeCoin DAO Metaverse Working Group is bringing the jungle to Nifty Island soon, after announcing that it's working on a brand new $Ape-centric metaverse experience!
Weeks after the ApeCoin DAO’s mascot, ApeKin, made landfall in the Nifty Island universe, the ApeCoin DAO’s Metaverse Working Group revealed that an ApeCoin-themed Nifty Island game is coming soon!
“ApeKin as a playable avatar for @apecoin holders in @Nifty_Island was just a first step,” ApeCoin DAO’s Metaverse Working Group Steward Dim.Eth tweeted last night. “Happy to announce that we are partnering with the incredible team at @ArtUnchained_io to develop a full experience!”
Following Dim’s post, Art Unchained took to the timeline and said that the Nifty Island $Ape experience will be an “epic adventure.”
“We're thrilled to be partnering with @apecoin,” Art Unchained tweeted. "Metaverse WG to bring a whole new world to life on @Nifty_Island We can't reveal much yet, but one thing is for sure: an epic adventure awaits you! Thanks a lot @dim8765 for your trust in our work!”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Dim has aimed for $Ape to have a presence in every metaverse since he was elected as the DAO’s first Metaverse Working Group Steward in December 2023. "My approach is Metaverse agnostic and involves working on several others," Dim tweeted in January 2024 when asked if he was looking beyond Otherside.
