COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN: The Mintotaur Mint Begins Sunday And Every Gob Can Claim One For Free!

For some, this Sunday is Easter. For others, it’s 4/20. But for Gobs On Ape holders, the Yugaverse, and the ApeChain ecosystem, it’s the first Mintotaur Mint Day, and every Gob is invited to claim and mint a mighty beast for free!
The Mintotaurs are coming down the mountain for the first time in a millennium this Sunday, landing on Blever’s launchpad and beginning their journey to Grimald at 10:20 A.M. EST for Phase One of this highly anticipated mint, where all 2,222 Gobs can mint a friend!
“Mark your books, Abandon ye family,” the Mintotaurs tweeted today. “For mintos come on the morrow.”
While Phase One is only open to Gobs On Ape holders tomorrow, Blever has already launched the Mintotaur mint page and Gobs, as well as BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, Kodas, and CryptoPunks holders, can all check their wallets to make sure they’re ready to mint!
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Mintotaur mint is a free mint and will take place across several claim windows between April 20th–24th.
Every Gob will be able to claim one Mintotaur between April 20th and April 22nd.
If all 2,222 Gobs claim their Mintotaurs, that leaves 1,111 Mintotaurs to be allocated across upcoming mint windows for Bored Apes, Mutant Apes, Kodas, , CryptoPunks, and BAKC holders, as well as for several unannounced ApeChain and Ethereum-based collections.
“To clear a bit of confusion, we have not placed the Apechain communities on the board yet, but will right when it opens later in the week,” the Mintotaurs project tweeted this evening. “That is not the total allocation.”
