Bored Apes, Mutants, Kodas, CryptoPunks, q00tants and q00nicorn holders, lend me your ear. Phase 2 of ApeChain’s mystical Mintotaur mint begins tomorrow morning, and you’re invited to take to the $Ape trenches and try your luck at some mint magic by clicking faster than your frens!
Things will be anything but boring in the Gobs On Ape world of Grimhold tomorrow as 530 more Mintotaurs come down from the mountain and head to NFT launchpad Blever for a token-gated mint on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Let's talk remaining mint details. First up (4/22), focused on Shadows by @yugalabs . Time: 10:20AM EST,” the Mintotaurs tweeted. “Who: @BoredApeYC - 250 MAYC - 100 KODA - 50 BAKC - 50 CryptoPunks - 50 q00tants - 10 q00nicorns – 20.”
Tomorrow morning’s mint will feel alot like an old Ethereum gas war, just without the exuberant prices, according to Mintotaurs and Gobs On Ape founder James Hall.
“Yes, all allocations are FCFS, it's like a lil gas war (we dont have those on ApeChain) it's just fastest there!”
Not only is tomorrow’s mint first-come, first-served, but each wallet is only allowed to mint one Mintotaur across all phases.
This means a Gobs On Ape holder who already minted a Mintotaur won’t be able to mint again during tomorrow’s Yuga Labs Shadow Phase 2. And anyone holding two or more eligible NFTs will still only be able to mint one. So, if you’re planning to try for multiple Mintotaurs, you’ll need to split your Shadows across different wallets using delegation.

Tomorrow’s mint is a first-of-its-kind event, using Yuga Labs’ new Shadow tech to reward Bored Apes, Mutants, Kodas, CryptoPunks, and q00tants with the chance to mint directly on ApeChain.
