The 400+ licensed Made By Apes builders around the swamp can now head to the polls as part of the newly created Made By Apes delegation, representing 6.5 million $APE in voting power at the ApeCoin DAO!
On Friday, Yuga Labs' MadeByApesVote.eth delegation officially opened for business, inviting every licensed MBA builder to review this cycle’s Ape Improvement Proposals and make their voices heard within the delegation.
“Live AIPs that went up for vote this week in the ApeCoin DAO have been duplicated on the Made By Apes Snapshot: https://snapshot.org/#/madebyapesvote.eth/,” the BAYC tweeted. “Wallets holding valid MBA licenses as of 6P ET on 10/4, have 10 days to cast their votes: by 9P ET on Monday, 10/14. Each proposal requires a 10% quorum in order for it to pass. If quorum is reached on a proposal, then the 6.5M $APE will be cast in favor of the majority vote. Votes are limited to once per wallet per proposal.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs first announced its plan to delegate 6.5 million $APE to the Made By Apes community on September 13th.
“There are 400+ Made by Apes businesses real doers who think long-term, across all kinds of industries,” Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted at the time. “ApeChain is for builders it's a massive opportunity for that energy, which there's so much of in the club already so we're giving Made by Apes a megaphone for this next chapter lead the way.”

Now that the Made By Apes delegation has opened, MBA licensees can vote in the current ApeCoin DAO voting cycle starting on the first and third Friday of every month. Licensees will have 10 days to vote, and the delegation must reach a 10% quorum for their 6.5 million $APE votes to be cast in the broader ApeCoin DAO AIP votes, according to Yuga Labs.
The window for MBA-licensed builders to participate in the first-ever voting cycle as part of the Made By Apes delegation is currently open, and every licensed builder is invited to help determine how the delegation will vote with its 6.5 million $APE in voting power between now and October 14th.
