A notable Bored Ape Yacht Club member and ApeChain NFT collector is feeling comfy in his bag this weekend after adding a hoodie-wearing CryptoPunk to his top-tier collection!

Whether it’s ApeChain or mainnet, SamuraiSpirit, AKA Thor, is always bringing the thunder and dropping $Ape or ETH on JPEGs he likes, and today was no different. On Saturday, Thor purchased CryptoPunk #8868 for 288.88 ETH, or $644,780 USD, from PunksOTC.

With today’s pickup, Thor has quietly put together one of the best Ethereum and ApeChain NFT collections around, including four Bored Apes, four Mutants, seven Doggos, three Azukis, 14 BEANZ, 48 REGENA, 49 MONKEES, two Geez On Ape (including the 1/1 GeeMalot), 30 DSNRs, a 1/1 FUKU, 2 Chipdenza, among other things!
