BORED BUSINESS: Bored Counsel Acquires Bulls On The Block And Launches "Divvy" Program To Reward Loyal Holders With Royalties!

Bored Counsel isn’t bullshitting when it comes to making moves in the swamp.Earlier this week, the Made By Apes consulting company announced its acquisition of the Bulls On The Block NFT collection, along with plans to launch a new “Divvy” system that will give holders a share of royalty payments—potentially sparking a bull run for these NFTs and the other projects they advise!

On Thursday, Bored Ape Yacht Club members and Bored Counsel founders Aaron Haber and Ernest Lee revealed they had purchased Bulls On The Block from the project’s founder for an undisclosed amount.

“BREAKING NEWS,” BoredandApe tweeted. “ @theboredcounsel, owned by @ernestleedotcom & @AaronHaber, have acquired ownership of OG Ethereum Collection @BullsOnTheBlock!”

“I just felt like this project needed new blood,” Lee told the Gazette during the Bored Ape gazette Live earlier this week. “I’ve been in contact with Anthony (the former owner) on trying to help and do knew things. And he just saw that I had a lot more bandwidth than he had at the moment. He was willing to part with it and I was more than happy to pick it up, after I spoke with Aaron because I don’t do all the heavy lifting myself. Its Aaron Haber man.”

Following the acquisition, Haber and Lee told the paper they plan to keep the Bulls on Ethereum while also exploring opportunities for them on ApeChain.

Additionally, the duo announced their “Divvy” system, which will distribute half of the weekly royalties from Bulls On The Block sales to holders who do not list their NFTs on exchanges that week. According to Lee, these Divvies aim to reward loyal holders while fostering a sense of shared value within the community.

By implementing this system, Haber and Lee hope to reward community members and highlight the importance of royalties—not just for collection creators but for every holder.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Bored Counsel and Bulls On The Block, and will bring you more information about this new Divvy system soon. Stay tuned for updates!
