BORED BUILDERS: Yuga Labs Invited 14 More Community Members To Create On Otherside Using The Alpha ODK!

A bunch of bored builders are heading to the Otherside to start experimenting with the alpha version of Yuga Labs’ Otherside Development Kit (ODK), which every voyager will eventually use to bring their metaverse dreams to life!

On Friday, Yuga Labs announced on Twitter that it is inviting 14 more community members to build on Otherside using the alpha version of the ODK, powered by $Ape!

“We’re happy to announce that starting today, the ODK Pre-Alpha has been expanded to the following 3D artists and developers from the Otherside community,” Yuga Labs wrote in Press Release. “Along with our community developers, we’ve also invited select development studios to participate to focus on creating engaging games & experiences. We’ll continue to onboard more external development partners to help us push the limits for what’s possible with ODK.”

Take a look at the 14 community members who are officially building on the Otherside below: @prollynuthin, @seannana, @tayl0rnelson, @0xm1kr, @Mikey_Thereum, @CryptoKeezi, @CryptoVonDoom, @YuAyato_TYO, @DareVader_eth, @YakuCorp, @paperdstudio, @superpotsecret,@_Kthings,and  @Escapation.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs first introduced the alpha version of the Otherside ODK in July, featuring builds by BAYC members Rida, Bailey, and TropicalVirtual.

Since then, Apes, Voyagers, and the entire Web3 space have caught glimpses of what building on Otherside will be like, in between trips to Otherside for Project Dragon and Otherside Poker night.

As Yuga Labs welcomes more Apes to start building with the ODK today, the company announced that it will be looking for even more builders in the coming weeks.

“The ultimate goal of the ODK is to equip all Otherdeed holders with tools that allow them to seamlessly launch experiences on ApeChain using templates and blueprints,” Yuga Labs wrote. “While we are still some distance from achieving this, adding more developers—both from the community and external sources—will help expedite the process. We’ll also continue to invite more community developers to the ODK pre-alpha in the coming weeks. If you or your team are interested in joining the ranks, let us know via DM on X or through the Otherside Discord.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the 14 new alpha ODK builders and keep you updated on their creations and when you can ape back into the metaverse. Stay tuned for updates!
