Bored Apes were beaming with joy today as a blue beams bored ape sold for 420.69 Eth or $1.4 million dollars!

BAYC member ProteinProsecco sold Bored Ape #6694 to Opensea user 801B68 earlier today. Bored Ape #6694 is six trait black fur ape with blue beam eyes, a Hawaiian shirt and a gold stud earing. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #6694 is the 232nd most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

Opensea user 801B68 appears to be new to the NFT space and Bored Ape #6694 is their first Bored Ape, according to their Opensea activity.

After the sale, BAYC member ProteinProsecco gave the community some insight on what he plans to do after selling his blue beams ape for 420.69 Eth.

“You know what that means, right??,” ProteinProsecco asked his followers in one tweet.

“IT MEANS 1.4 MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF MORE MONKEYS,” he said in a follow up tweet.
