Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Adam Weitsman Purchased A Mega Koda For 90 Eth Or $143K USD

As Legends of the Mara debuted, one of the biggest collectors in the Yuga Labs ecosystem aped into a Mega Koda!

On Tuesday, Bored Ape Yacht Club member Adam Weitsman, who previously purchased the Golden Key from Dookey Dash for $1.6 million USD and who made waves around the swamp by investing in Otherdex, purchased Mega Koda #9951 for 90 Eth or $143,190 USD from longtime BAYC member TenaciousEth.

Koda #9951 is a mega Koda with a grey fuzzy core, infrared eyes, and a grey seeker head. Koda #9951 is also armed with a dual scythe weapon and is wearing a Gucci KodaPendant.

“I wanted to support the space, especially when there has been negative press about it,” Weitsman told the Gazette after his Mega purchase. “I also wanted to support my friend @adamv_eth‘s new company @otherdex by purchasing this legendary Koda from someone I respect in the space, @TenaciousEth.”

As Weitsman welcomed this Mega Koda to his collection, TenaciousEth took to Twitter and told his followers that he’s going shopping!

“Goodbye my furry friend Happy you’re going to a good home Cheers @AdamWeitsman Now to go koda shopping…,” he tweeted.
