Bored Ape Yacht Club Co-Founder Sass And Emperor Tomato Ketchup Doxed Themselves On Twitter
Days after Bored Ape Yacht Club Co-Founders Gordon Goner and Garagmel were doxed by Buzzfeed news, club Co-Founders Sass and Emperor Tomato Ketchup dox themselves on Twitter.
“Seems like the cat is out of the bag anyway, Emporer Tomoato Ketchup tweeted along with a photo of himself. “So... Hi, I'm Kerem web2 me vs. web3 me.
BAYC Co-Founder Sass also doxed himself at the same time. “Welp,” Sass tweeted along with a photo of himself. “Here we go... Hey, I'm Zeshan. Nice to meet y'all (: Web2 me vs. Web3 me.”
With Sass and Emperor Tomato Ketchup doxing themselves, now all four BAYC co-founder are doxed.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, BAYC founders Gargamel and Gordon Goner had their real-life identities revealed yesterday evening by Buzzfeed Reporter, Katie Notopoulos.
“BuzzFeed News can now reveal the identities of Bored Apes' two main founders: Greg Solano, a 32-year-old writer and editor, and Wylie Aronow, a 35-year-old originally from Florida, Notopoulos wrote in her article.
Notopoulos goes on to write that “Solano and Aronow don’t appear to have any particular red flags (apart from Aronow domain name squatting). But what if in a different NFT collective, the founders turn out to have a long criminal history or extreme political leanings that might make collectors regret spending huge sums of money on their products?”
Prior to being doxed by Buzzfeed last week, the BAYC founders discussed why they preferred to remain anonymous in an interview with Farokh.
“There’s a long history of anonymous/pseudonymous founders in crypto, and there are very real reasons why people want to protect their personal privacy in this space," the BAYC founders told Farokh. “But equally important to us is trust. We knew as soon as we wanted to enter into the space, that the thing to do would be to form a Delaware LLC. This allows us to be personally pseudonymous, while showing that we’re serious and dedicated to what we do here. Our employees and partners know who we are. And over the past nine months, the community has gotten to know us through our digital identities. We prefer to be judged based on our actions and work. In our view, this is about the club — not us.”
Following Sass and Emperor Tomato Ketchup doxing themselves, BAYC manager Guy Oseary tweeted a photo of himself with the founders.
"Well.. there it is, Oseary tweeted this afternoon. "The other half of the photo from #apefest last year..@SassBAYCand @TomatoBAYC with @GordonGoner and @CryptoGarga .. I’m grateful to be partners with these amazing 4 talented founders of @BoredApeYC."
