BEEP. BOOP. BOUGHT: BAYC Member Adam Weitsman Purchases 103 HV-MTLs From Web3 Gamer HashTagRemy!

Beep. Boop. Bought. Bored Ape Yacht Club member Adam Weitsman is making waves in both the Rift and the Web3 world after acquiring HashTagRemy’s 103 HV-MTL Robot collection in an over-the-counter deal, declaring that he’s “all in to the end.”

On Wednesday, one of the Web3 world’s most prolific gamers, HashTagRemy, whose gaming team won $144,000 USD worth of $APE during the dungeon crawler phase of Yuga Labs' Forge game in 2023, sold his HV-MTL collection to BAYC member Adam Weitsman for an undisclosed amount.

Today I sold my entire HV-MTL collection of 103 NFTs to @AdamWeitsman,” HashTagRemy wrote. “It’s been a long road since the the OG Dookey Dash insanity. Taking 1st and 3rd in Forge was one of the highlights of web3 for me. It was extremely close between Adam’s team and I. A month straight of barely any sleep and memories with the boys. It’s bittersweet for me to see them go but Adam and I have talked about him acquiring these for an awhile now. I’m glad they went to him. He’s a genuine guy and a great friend/mentor. Much love to him and wishing him only the best!”

 

 

After HashTagRemy announced the deal, Weitsman took to social media to thank him for the new NFTs and reiterated that he’s excitred for the future of Faraway!

“I believe in this space,” he tweeted. “Will continue to support good times or bad. Thank you @hashtagRemyfor the flawless transaction. @farawaygg I’m all in to the end.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Weitsman has been extremely bullish on Faraway and Yuga Labs for years. He even met with both teams last summer and said that he cant wait to see what they do next.

“Went into this weekend’s meetings with Alex and Dennis from @farawaygg& @CryptoGarga from @BoredApeYC @yugalabswith skepticism, but an open mind," Weitsman tweeted at the time. "I left feeling the HIGHEST level of confidence and trust after speaking with them. Epic things ahead. These guys are the real deal!”

 

 

Since then, Weitsman has continued adding to his NFT collection.

As of today he holds three Bored Apes, two Mutant Apes including Mega Demon, a Meebit, three Mega Kodas, three Bored Ape Kennel Club pups, the Golden Key from Dookey Dash, and now 487 HV-MTLs following his deal with HashTagRemy!
