BAYC Member And Nelk Boys President John Shahidi Showed Graham Stephan Their Bored Jerky Brand

Nelk Boys President and Bored Ape Yacht Club member John Shahidi teased “Bored Jerky” during an interview with a popular Youtuber this week.

On Monday, personal finance enthusiast and Youtuber, Graham Stephan, uploaded a new video titled “Inside NELK’s $250,000,000 Empire (The Full Story).”

At the video’s seven-minute mark, Shahidi showed Stephan the company’s next product, “Bored Jerky.”

“Everyone is expecting happy dad to come out with another alcohol but were going to come out with another consumer goods product,” Shahidi explained. “We have a lot of feet on the ground the visit the gas stations and connivence stores… So what’s another product that we can actually get in that’s not alcohol that doesn’t compete with us. We just felt that no one has really come in and made anything better than what’s out there.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Shahidi and the Nelk Boys first teased Bored Jerky on the Full Send Podcast last summer during an interview with Bored Ape Yacht Club Founders Gordon Goner and Garga.

The Bored Jerky brand will have three different flavors, original, spicy, and peppered, featuring three different Bored Apes on the packaging.

Bored Jerky will be the Nelk Boys second BAYC inspired brand. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the popular Youtubers hard seltzer company, Happy Dad, released a limited-edition banana flavored drink in 2022 that featured Bored Ape #8928 on the can.

Recently, Happy Dad announced that it would be bringing back its BAYC themed banana flavored seltzer later this year.
