B(ORED)MW: The Bored Ape Yacht Club And BMW Announced Their New Bored Ape Bimmer Club jackets!

B(ored)MW is making waves around the swamp after the Bored Ape Yacht Club announced it is teaming up with the luxury automaker to create the "ultimate driving machine" of merch: Bored Ape Bimmer Club jackets!

As we speed towards ApeFest 2024, the BAYC unveiled its new Bored Ape Bimmer Club jackets, which will be available for purchase in Lisbon and online after ApeFest.

 

 

“The BABC jacket is made from high-quality materials for comfort and durability,” Yuga Labs wrote. “The jacket is embedded with an IYK chip, offering personalized ownership. The design reflects our collective journeys and the unique spirit of BABC. Whether cruising in your Bimmer or hanging with fellow Apes, this jacket is a must-have addition to your wardrobe.”

Along with the sale of these Bored Ape Bimmer Club jackets, Yuga Labs also announced that Apes who participated in BMW’s ApeFest activation last year will receive a free BABC patch!

“To the 227 Apes who claimed the 2023 Hong Kong BMW X BAYC POAP… welcome to the Bored Ape Bimmer Club,” the BAYC tweeted. “As founding members, you’ll receive a 1/227 physical iron-on patch.”

 

“Working with BMW on a special merch item for apes is a dream come true,” Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted after the announcement. “Bored Ape Bimmer Club jacket is super sick. will be on sale at ApeFest. also a nice little patch freebie as a thank you for Apes who participated in the BMW activation at ApeFest last year…. yep, Bored Ape Bimmer Club jacket will also go on sale online at end of ApeFest.”

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the 108-year-old automobile company first collaborated with the BAYC during ApeFest 2023 in Hong Kong, where it showcased an i5 M60 for a 'boring' digital experience featuring a bunch of Apes!

 

During this year’s event, BMW will not only be dropping the Bored Ape Bimmer Club jackets with the BAYC, but will also debut an ApeCar designed by BAYC member Rida.
