B-APE-ISH: The Bored Ape Yacht Club Revealed Its 'BAYC Milo' Design From Its Upcoming BAPE Collab
The Bored Ape Yacht Club is feeling B-Ape-ish after the community got its first look at 'BAYC Milo'!
Baby Curtis made his debut around the swamp this evening as the club revealed one of the designs from its upcoming collaboration with A Bathing Ape.
“2010 vibes,” the BAYC tweeted along with a never before seen image of the project’s mascot. “Ape exclusive. Cop the BAPE® X BAYC Milo Tee only at #ApeFestHK and online on November 4th.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs announced that it was collaborating with BAPE last month and that collection would be making its debut at ApeFest 2023!
“We’ve worked with BAPE to reimagine iconic designs from their deep archive, with one foot in their Ura-Harajuku roots and the other in the BAYC swamp,” Yuga Labs Co-Founder Garga explained in a blog post titled. TWO ICONIC APES, COOKING SOMETHING UP' in September. “This first collaboration is all about the community, where BAYC members and BAPE Heads receive exclusive early access to the apparel and accessories in the limited-edition collection. The collection makes its debut at ApeFest on November 4, where Apes can purchase onsite, or online with token-gated access. Then, it drops exclusively for BAPETAVERSE members online. Finally, in December the collection arrives at BAPE STORE® and BAPE.COM globally, where the public can access. “
Today’s BAYC Milo tease is the second item the club has revealed so far.
Last week, the BAYC posted a close up image of a BAPE X BAYC limited edition shoe that had everyone going bananas!
Since that post, Yuga Labs’ Social Lead, Ngbshpend, has announced that half of the BAPE X BAYC limited edition shoes will be available for purchase at ApeFest/online and the other half will be available at BAPE stores later this year.
"The BAYC x Bape shoe will drop in person and online," he tweeted. "Limited to 1K supply split between online in person at Apefest HK and in store later in the year."
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the BAYC’s collab with BAPE and will keep you posted on all things Merch! Stay tuned for updates!
