APED IN: Popular Soda Company Jarritos Joined The Bored Ape Yacht Club

This popular soda company is getting a taste of the Bored Ape Yacht Club after it recently joined the swamp.

Mexican soda company Jarritos announced that it has joined the BAYC after the popular soda company purchased Mutant Ape #5240 six days ago.

Mutant Ape #5240 is a six-trait brown fur M1 mutant ape with a striped tee and a bowler hat. Based on these traits, Mutant Ape #5240 is the 18886th most rare mutant in the Mutant Ape Yacht Club, according to Rarity Tools.

“We’re proud to announce that we’ve joined the @BoredApeYC family and are heading to ApeFest,” Jarritos tweeted earlier today. “See you all at NFT NYC Is Ape follow Ape still a thing?”

After Jarritos post, BAYC member Jeremiah Allen Welch shared an image of his ape and a Tamarind soda and told the company that he looks forward to seeing them at Ape Fest. “Let’s link mi amigos.”

Welch wasn’t the only ape happy to see the brand join the swamp, BAYC member Dtrain22 also welcomed the soda company to the club .“I have 1-2 mandarin Jarritos per week and those moments are the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Jarritos is just the latest brand to ape into the BAYC. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Arizona Iced Tea, Pretty Little Thing, E11even Night Club, among others have all previously joined the club.
