ApeChain Launched On Mainnet During Night 2 Of ApeFest 2024!

It’s a new day around the swamp after Yuga Labs announced the launch of ApeChain on mainnet, inviting Apes and $Ape holders to bridge their tokens and go bananas!

ApeFest always makes headlines, but this year’s event was one for the ages. On Saturday, Yuga Labs ended a keynote speech full of alpha, BMW partnerships, and Otherside news with arguably the biggest announcement since the Mutant Ape Mint: ApeChain is now live on mainnet!

“I know a lot of you have been wondering about the future and when they will release ApeChain, Yuga Labs’ Chief Product Officer Michael Figge said during tonight’s keynote speech. “But I have something to tell you. In the next two mintues, before im done talking, the ApeChain mainnet RPCs are going to come online. The block explorer by etherscan is going to come online.ApeChain dot com, you can visit on your phone, is going to come online. There you can browser all of the Apps that are going to be available on ApeChain.A Major Otherside ODK update featuring all of the stuff we showed you tonight is going to be made available to all the builders in the ODK. ApeChain’s mainnet is coming online at ApeFest tonight.”

 

“I think ApeChain’s going to be a huge level up for the club, one of the biggest ever,” Garga said to a thousand plus Apes during tonight’s event.

 

To celebrate the launch, Apes opened their phones and participated in the first-ever round of Yuga Labs’ trading simulation game, TopTrader.

During the game, Apes went full schizo, trading tokens with up to 1,000x leverage, getting a taste of the degenerecy action that ApeChain is all about!

Immediately after the launch, one of ApeChain’s inaugural dApps, Ape Express, opened for business. There, Memecoins ranging from Curtis to Garga’s dog Gizmo were created, and the platform saw over a million dollars in volume within the first hour.
