Next Stop: Ape Express!

After two months of shining the Spotlight on Yuga Labs’ dApp Top Trader—which rewarded community users with tickets to last month’s F1 race in Las Vegas—ApeChain is now highlighting another community favorite, Ape Express!

 

Over the weekend, ApeChain announced Ape Express, a memecoin launchpad, as its next Spotlight dApp.

This feautre comes complete with 17 different quests for $Ape holders to do, ranging from trading memecoins to participating in more degenerate activities like raids, shameless shilling, and even joining a cult!

 

“Being the spotlight dapp on ApeChain is an incredible honor—it really shows how much the ecosystem values innovation and accessibility and adding us to this program will be great to expand our user base,” Ape Express Founder KOKO told the Gazette. “Ape Express was built to empower everyone, from seasoned memecoin devs to complete newcomers, by making token creation on ApeChain simple, fast, and fun.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, ApeChain first introduced its Spotlight program during the third and final day of ApeFest 2024.

This program highlights one dApp at a time, giving $Ape holders the opportunity to earn rewards made possible by the recently passed $100 million Banana Bill.

 

“Spotlight is the ApeChain points and loyalty program, and we are flipping the points meta on its head,” ApeCoin Special Council Member Waabam said at the time. “Rather lots of different games and dApps, on Spotlight we are going to focus on one dApp at a time. Its simple. Its fun, and tasks will be enjoyable to complete. The other thing we are doing with Spotlight is that the rewards will not be ApeCoin…Instead we are leveraging the Banana Bill and the different commercial agreements that were made and those will be the rewards on Spotlight.”

 

At this time, it’s unclear what kind of rewards the Ape Express Spotlight will yield, but it’s safe to say everyone should ape in and participate.
